Vodafone have announced that they will soon be carrying three more top smartphones; the Samsung Galaxy S, Samsung Wave and the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini.
As far as phone retailers go Vodafone is doing a pretty good job of offering a good variety of the smartphone market to its customers, stocking everything from the iPhone, the Google Nexus One and the HTC Desire and now they are adding three more mobile phones to their collection too.
Of the three models I’d be most excited about the Samsung Wave; we’ve heard good things and it’ll be interesting to see how Samsung’s first model using their Bada OS will perform. It comes with a 3.3 inch Super AMOLED screen and a 1GHz processor.
The Bada platform promises to let users: “Adapt the phone to suit your requirements. Using the TouchWiz feature, for example, you can personalise multiple home screens with your favourite shortcuts and menus to get quicker access to the things you need most.”
The Samsung Galaxy S will be available exclusively to Vodafone customers and will be released with Android 2.1 as well as having a 4 inch super AMOLED screen, 5 megapixel camera and also features HD video capture.
The Sony Ericsson X10 mini is the another Android phone that will be carried by Vodafone and is aimed at social networking users and features Timescape and Mediascape applications to help you keep track of your busy social calendar as well as accessing lots of lovely music and video content.
All three phones are featured on their ‘coming soon’ page but there are no pricing details as of yet but hopefully there will be some good mobile phone deals available for those taking out a contract.
